S.P.iR.iT Job Descriptions
  • ADMISSIONS/FINANCIAL AID ASSISTANT
    (Federal work-study students preferred)
    Assist the admissions office and financial aid staff with daily and special recruitment projects.
  • DATA ENTRY ASSISTANT
    (Federal work-study students preferred)
    Assist in processing information on our databases for prospective students. High attention to detail, accuracy, and high computer aptitude are required.
  • TELECOUNSELOR
    Make phone calls to prospective students to promote Carlow, Oakland, Pittsburgh, and our recruitment programs.
  • TOUR GUIDE
    Provide individual and group tours to prospective students and their parents.
  • OVERNIGHT HOSTESS
    Host prospective students for Overnight Programs. Resident students only!
  • PROGRAM ASSISTANT
    Provide assistance and support at recruitment events such as Campus visit days and Overnight programs. Activities may include set-up and tear down, check-in, registration coverage, etc.
  • PANELIST
    Speak to prospective students at recruitment programs about your Carlow experience.
  • TESTIMONIAL WRITING
    Write letters or provide quotes for Carlow's recruitment publications and mailings.
  • BIG BUDDY/LITTLE BUDDY
    Become a "Big Buddy "! Mentor an incoming student, and be a role model throughout their college career.
  • MENTOR
    Have a prospective student shadow you throughout a typical day in your life at Carlow.
